LEVEL THE ICE offers elite hockey training and mentorship to promising young players who have succeeded in the game despite economic challenges.

This program has been created to support hockey’s blue-collar roots as well as to contribute to its diversity, in order to further success within the game based on ability and character over background.

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING

From July 6-12, 2014 at the Sensplex in Kanata, Ontario we are offering a fully sponsored, elite hockey training camp to selected players within Ottawa and surrounding areas.

Our elite hockey skills program combines both on-ice, and off-ice instruction with mentorship that brings in community leaders from hockey, business, academic and other successful backgrounds.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking to select 20 competitive hockey players to participate in our program. Players must be in birth years 2001 or 2002 in the Ottawa or surrounding area and must meet our eligibility criteria (please see our How to Apply section). Our emphasis will be on finding deserving players with strong character who have overcome, or currently face, beyond average economic challenges in playing the game of hockey.

NOMINATE A DESERVING YOUNG PLAYER

If you are a member of a minor hockey association and/or coach interested in nominating a deserving player that meets our eligibility requirements please see our How to Apply section for nomination instructions. Nominations will be accepted until June 6, 2014.
